Timothy has appeared in over 30 movies and TV series. Of these many roles, he is best known for his recurring characters Chris in 45 episodes of Sports Night, and Mark O'Donnell for 56 episodes of The West Wing. He can also be seen in episodes of the series Arrested Development, 24, Big Love, Monk, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and Desperate Housewives. On the silver screen, Timothy has appeared in the movies Material Girls, The Deep End of the Ocean. and At a Glance.
