The Mighty Kites are J.D. and Turk's kite-flying team. J.D is the captain of The Mighty Kites and the team has also developed their own 'salute'. J.D. often asks nurses at the hospital whether it is windy outside, in order to properly judge the kite-flying conditions of the day.
