Full name[]
Why is the article named "Robert Kelso"? --172.178.72.130 09:35, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- It is titled "Robert Kelso" because that is his full name. We don't include "Dr." in any of the titles for standard formatting. However, "Bob Kelso", "Dr. Kelso" and "Dr. Bob Kelso" redirect here. --Ohmyn0 16:51, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks, because it's not mentioned in the article where his full name appears in the series. --172.179.213.213 20:44, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
i don't want him to leave the show :(
Likes and Dislikes[]
I ... would just like to say how poor i think these articles are. I mean... likes and dislikes sections??? -- 86.17.147.170
- Thank you for your opinion. Personally, I think it is a good fit. It's much easier to list them than word them into paragraphs. Scrubs is not a serious show, so our content is light as well. The main reason we have these sections is because very often Dr. Cox/Elliot/etc. will talk about something they like/hate, and it's interesting to have them all listed. We're always open to suggestions, so please let us know if you have any ideas for improvement. --Ohmyn0 00:44, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- I agree about the lists, they are practical and light-hearted, by I strongly disagree about Scrubs being "not serious". It can be funny, but it's pretty serious in what the show narrates. It's not your next silly sitcom you watch with your brain turned off. It deserves a great dose of respect from a creative point of view.Kumagoro42 19:57, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
someone should add Grand Theft Auto(he refers to as 'that hooker shooting game' in My Hard Labor) He sayed it was the only game he played besides Pac-man
This page needs fixing[]
Just created my account, I see some pages are locked (can understand why), but still I see mistakes to be fixed. In Kelso's page, Cox paragraph: "The occasionally talk" => "They occasionally talk". Elliot paragraph: "Private Practice dorctor" => "Private Practice doctor". Kumagoro42 19:57, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
"Did it once" with Laverne[]
Did Bob Kelso really sleep with Laverne? After all, it was sort of a fantasy for Carla, since Laverne was in a coma, when she "told" Carla about it. ("My Long Goodbye") chrisis123 21:17, 14 April 2009 (UTC) yes. He started kissing her unconscious body.
THEY DID. ah, well in "my cuz" the janitor explains that kelso and himself are wiener cousins because they both had sex with laverne roberts. please change that bit.
"Charlie"[]
In the trivia, I think that the Charlie that he used to scare in 'Nam was the Viet Cong. They were called Charlie if I am thinking correctly, and it is more likely that he would scare them, not his pilot.
Locum, not low income[]
What Dr. Kelso said is he's going for locum tenens, a latin term for part time doctor work, not looking after a low income family. Same mistake's on the page for My Finale.
Trivia - Possible reason for the name Kelso[]
Allusion: It is quite probable that the writers named the characters as an allusion to The Picture of Dorian Gray, where the main character Dorian has a mean grandfather named Kelso. 84.55.111.55 10:19, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
Ex Marine[]
I know this is just speculation but am I right in thinking Kelso served in the Marines before transferring to the Navy? I am sure I heard him call himself a Marine at least once --Remlap1986
much missing about bob[]
i think that this article shows an impression of bob from the early seasons where he despises his wife and son along with all of the staff at the hospital especially dr cox which isnt true at all in later seasons, wikipedia i hate to say has a much better article with great references especially to do with his caring compassionate side i just feel that he is being portrayed here as something he isnt, he was my favourite character and i just want to see him done justice (especially how he shows a deep love for both his wife and son)
