Are the ostriches really a reference to Dude Where's my Car? I know the film has ostriches in, but the Scrubs references are usually to classic well known films with somewhat of a cult status. It just seems like Dude Where's my Car was way too small a film to be referenced. Removed the section about the glass smashing when Turk flies through it. As seen in the episode, Turk does infact break two extra panes of glass, thus why the noise is made.
Further research is going to be conducted into the Elliot and Keith door situation. You can see in other episodes that particular room she was leaning against the door in has a second door, as it's a joint room.
