Season Ten (2026 revival season)

Season Ten will be the first revival season of Scrubs and will air on ABC, premiering on February 25, 2026 consisting of 9 episodes. Series creator Bill Lawrence is set to return as executive producer, and core cast members (Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, John C. McGinley, and Judy Reyes) are set to return.

“J.D. and Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time: Medicine has changed; interns have changed; but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way. The 30-minute revival comedy series stars Zach Braff as John "J.D." Dorian, Donald Faison as Christopher Turk and Sarah Chalke as Elliot Reid.”

“Bill Lawrence of Doozer Productions created the original series and serves as executive producer alongside Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer also of Doozer Productions. Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke will star and executive produce. Aseem Batra serves as executive producer and showrunner; Tim Hobert and Randall Winston also executive produce. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television Studios.”

Talk of a revival season or movie has circulated since the show ended in 2010. The first notable milestone occurred on November 17, 2018 the entire Scrubs cast held a reunion panel hosted by Vulture.^[1] The 2020 podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald began more momentum and in 2025 the revival season was officially greenlit by ABC for a total of nine episodes.

The revival is set to premiere on February 25, 2026 with back to back 30 minute episodes. Episodes will air first on ABC, and stream on Hulu the following day.
