Trivia
- Lawrence has also said that the old hospital set has been demolished and a new Sacred Heart has been built. They will explain this in the show that the old hospital was too old to function so they tore it down and built a state-of-the-art hospital on a med school campus. Because the hospital ran out of money, some hallways and doors will lead to nowhere. [16]
- Lawrence also explained that Braff's appearance in Season Nine will not be because of Sacred Heart, but because St. Vincent's requires him to get more teaching accreditation.
- Judy Reyes and Sam Lloyd will probably not be in Season Nine. [17]
- It is believed the titles of episodes from this season on will begin with "Our" instead of "My". [18]
- Sacred Heart has a new logo. [19]
- Windell Middlebrooks has been cast to play either Captain Dunhill or Lieutenant Dunkirk. [20]
