All images, articles, and categories on Scrubs Wiki must be properly categorized. Following are our guidlines for categorization. These are most easily learned by looking at the categories tagged on a similar article.
Articles[]
Episodes[]
All episode articles already have all necessary categories, including Category:Scrubs Episodes and Category:Season 1 Episodes (etc.). Based solely on discretion, some have Category:Special Episodes.
Characters[]
- All characters must have Category:Scrubs Characters and Category:Season 1 Characters for every season in which they appear.
- Job-applicable categories must also be applied. Category:Doctors should be applied to all doctors, medical and surgical. Also, Category:Nurses, Category:Surgeons, and other jobs may be attributed. Include these categories even if they no longer apply, such as Category:Interns. See more job-related categories at Category:Scrubs Characters.
- For patients and patients family members, Category:Patients and Category:Season 1 Patients (etc.) must be used for each season. Use Category:Patient's Family Members for applicable articles.
- Characters appearing only in fantasies should be tagged with Category:Fantasy-Only Characters.
- Category:Slow Motion Girls is for female characters who walk in slow-motion at any point in the show.
- Category:Elliot's Romantic Partners and Category:J.D.'s Romantic Partners are self-explanitory.
Cast/Crew[]
- All cast members must have Category:Cast and Category:Season 1 Cast for every season in which they appear.
- All crew members must have Category:Crew.
- Directors, Writers, Producers, and other production departments have their own categories. See Category:Crew.
Other[]
- Articles listing anything (especially with "List" in the article title) should include Category:Lists
- For articles relating to Sacred Heart, add Category:Sacred Heart
- For articles relating to Scrubs, but don't fit any category, inform an administrator, create an applicable category, or add Category:Scrubs.
Images[]
Character Images[]
- These are easy. Simply apply Template:CharacterImages for a banner under the image and proper categorization. For important and recurring characters, Template:Image should be applied with applicable names piped in, such as: {{Image|jd|elliot|turk}} would include a banner and categories for Category:Images of John Dorian, Elliot, and Turk.
- For HQ/HD images, use Template:HQImage.
Cast/Crew Images[]
- Simply add Template:CastandCrewImages.
Screenshots/Episode Images[]
- Easy. Apply Template:Imagesfrom and pipe in the correct episode title or number, such as {{Imagesfrom|2x8}} or {{Imagesfrom|My Finale}}
Production Images[]
- For images of DVDs, posters, behind the scenes shots, and other production-related images, use Template:ProductionImages
Categories[]
- Categories that include articles relating the characters and other in-world articles should be tagged with applicable larger categories. If none exist, tag with Category:Scrubs.
- For categories relating to Scrubs Wiki, use Category:Scrubs Wiki.
- For production categories, use Category:Production
