Ralph was born in Burbank, California and graduated from Pomona College with a B.A. in Sociology in 1979. He is highly active in theatre, and occasionally holds roles for TV shows and movies. He can be seen in episodes of the TV series Rodney, Two and a Half Men, Dexter, Desperate Housewives, Cold Case, and What About Brian. He can also be seen in the films Flower Shop, Kiss the Bride, and The Soloist.
