Summary

Turk convinces J.D. that he needs to go to Tacoma for Kim's first ultra sound which results in an impromptu road trip for the Sacred Heart crew. . After commandeering Dr. Kelso's new RV; Elliot, Carla, Keith, Ted, and the Janitor (along with Rowdy) join the father-to-be on his journey. Meanwhile, Dr. Cox and Jordan face some concern when her ultrasound reveals that their unborn child will need to have surgery. Dr. Cox is upset about this but is overjoyed when Turk (who assisted on the surgery) tells him that his second child is a girl. Kim tells J.D. that she had a miscarriage, and they have a mutual break-up because she was offered a permanent position in Tacoma. The end of the episode shows Kim having an ultrasound, revealing that the miscarriage never happened.


Trivia

Turk's ringtone is "Guy Love" from the episode "My Musical". The doctor doing Kim's ultrasound at the end of the episode is played by TV Guide columnist Michael Ausiello.
