Due to the Cirrhosis of his liver, Mr. Hogan couldn't eat meat. This news did not make him stop eating meat, however, and he continually ended up back at Sacred Heart. J.D. and Carla tried to use tough love to convince him that he was going to die if he continued to eat red meats. ("My Big Mouth")
