After Turk had performed hand surgery on Mr. Gold, a homeless man, he wrapped them with lots of gauze because the patient liked to chew on his stitches. Katie was asked to help him not chew on his hands, and she first tried talking to him and an Elizabethan collar on him. She eventually reluctantly strapped him to his bed, and he spit in her face.
