hey man. i've been working on a list of all deaths in scrubs and i've also been working on a similar list with family guy. however, i have a little beef with the admin on family guy and he won't accept my family guy list of deaths because of reasons........ you may remember me from my list of all crimes commited by the gang on the it's always sunny in philadelphia wikia, and if so, then you will know the level of detail i get into haha
but i was wanting to make sure that you and the other admin here won't delete all my hard work when i finish the list and upload it. this list will be acceptable, yes? haha
(also, if you confirm that i'm not wasting my time and my work is welcomed here, i know of the formatting for other wikias with lists of deaths and they usually have it in a chart kinda thing per season and i don't know how to do all that. i was hoping maybe you could give me some pointers on how to do that? or if when i'm done and it's uploaded, if you could clean it up and turn it all sexy into the chart it's supposed to be.)
Trevor, my name is Adamantoise. I'm a bureau and admin of several wikis on Wikia and Taylor (Horns Teh Klown is a fellow admin of mine over on the Sons of Anarchy Wiki. It recently came to my attention that he was blocked on this wiki, which in essence ruins his chance of adopting another wiki which he truly cares for. I checked into his contributions here and noticed that he was simply blocked for changing the page name of character's who names were changed after marriage. While I myself can relate to the possible reasoning for the block, I also know that he didn't realize it was against your policy, as he was never warned that he was doing wrong. We all know that there's a big difference between a vandal in need of blocking and a new editor confused by unclear methodology. I feel he was just trying to make the wiki a more comprehensive and definitive source by providing important and relevant information designed to give the user a more encyclopedic experience. If it was me I would have warned him, rather than blocking him.
As you are the Bureaucrat over this wiki, and not Patrick (Remlap1986), I urge you to reconsider Taylor's block, and possibly give him another chance, but maybe provide him with a warning and a link to a list of site rules and regulations. He really does have each wiki's best interests at heart. Other than the mistaken name changes, he has done nothing but provide constructive edits meant to make this wiki a better place.
Even if you don't want him to edit here anymore, I still ask that you please remove his block so that he can be allowed the opportunity to adopt another wiki which is truly being improved and bettered by his presence. Its admins flew the coup five years ago and looking back through the edit log, Taylor's really gone above and beyond for the place, and he truly deserves to be able to adopt it.
So please consider removing his block and simply providing him with a warning not to change any more page names. That would mean the world to me! If you need me, I have my name wall page here but you can also find me on the two wikis I frequent the most: True Blood and Sons of Anarchy. Thank you Trevor!
Thank you Trevor. Horns has turned out to be quite a valuable asset over on the SOA wiki and his work on the Burn Notice wiki is impeccable. I honestly feel he deserves the chance to adopt it and with the overturn of this unwarranted block, I strongly feel he can now achieve that chance.
I thank you again for giving him another opportunity and hopefully this time he can continue to help make the Scrubs wiki a better place for all fans. Again, if you ever need me, please don't hesitate to write!
P.S. - I'll have the check out the show. I've never watched it but being here has certainly sparked my curiosity. Thanks, again!
I deleted the contents of an article because it contained spam. Then I renamed it because there was an URL in the title also. Alas: a redirect was created, so the article still exists. Can you please delete (Spam, please delete and Метизы , метизы оптом etc.)? TIA. - Erik Baas (talk) 22:29, October 7, 2016 (UTC)
Seen this edit? I did it because the redirect was not working as expected. It does now, but... the redirect now also appears in Category:Narrators, en that's no good either. So I guess you can't have a redirect to an anchor ("#Story episodes") on a category-page... - Erik Baas (talk) 23:13, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
Thank you. Yes, I'm fine with the others. Thanks for your kind words. It was a blast.
One more thing maybe you could help me with - that image still appears in Google images search results. Google originally told me that I need to contact it's webmaster to have it removed, which we've done. How can I remove it from Google? I'd appreciate any help and/or knowledge.
That's just Google's cache. They index our content regularly, so they will soon re-index and find it has been deleted and remove it from their results. It's just a waiting game, unfortunately.
Also - feel free to upload another primary picture for your page: Mike Schwartz. I got that one from a DVD behind-the-sceens screengrab and couldn't get one with you smiling. Let me know if I can help if you're interested.
I need to go through all of those transcripts again and re-format the articles. I realized they were all dead-end pages and the navigation was completely useless. Take a look at My First Day transcript as an example.
