Jeff Marx is a lyricist for the Scrubs episode "My Musical".
Bio[]
Jeff was born in Florida but moved to Michigan for college, where he was a member of the glee club. He continued his education, getting a juris doctor degree. His is a member of the New York Bar association, but does not practice law. He soon after entered a theatrical workshop to meet clients, and met future collaborator Robert Lopez. The two worked on a Muppet movie that didn't pan out then shortly focused their efforts on writing the successful Broadway play Avenue Q, for which they won Tony Awards.
In addition to Avenue Q, he has also written music for the TV series Rick & Steve the Happiest Gay Couple in All the World, Bear in the Big Blue House, and The Book of Pooh.
