Bio[]
Jay was born in New Jersey and began his comedy career by performing in comedy clubs. In 1993 he was cast on Saturday Night Live. Shortly after, he held recurring roles in The Jeff Foxworthy Show and Local Heroes. In 1996 he appeared in the film Jerry MacGuire, a role for which he is recognized today. Since then he has held recurring roles on the TV series Action, Fastlane, The West Wing, Ghost Whisperer and starred in CBS's Gary Unmarried. He has also appeared in the films Cherry Falls, Pay it Forward, S1m0ne, The Adventures of Pluto Nash, and many others.
He is an avid sportsfan and has hosted several sports talk shows.
