Bio

Born in Rye, New York, Jason was only 12 when he landed his first role, a 21 episode stint as James Cooper Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie. Since then he has appeared in dozens of TV shows, including 23 episodes of Silver Spoons, 18 episodes of It's Your Move, 110 episodes of Valerie, and 8 episodes of Some of My Best Friends. He was cast as the lead character Michael Bluth in the FOX sitcom Arrested Development for which he was nominated for an Emmy. After that he starred in the short lived The Jake Effect and Sit Down, Shut Up series.

Bateman has also been heavily involved with movies and has starred in many of the years. His first starring role was in the 1987 film Teen Wolf Too. Other film credits include The Sweetest Thing, Starsky & Hutch, Dodgeball, The Ex (with Zach Braff), The Break-Up, Smokin' Aces, The Kingdom, Juno, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, Hancock, State of Play, and Extract among many more upcoming project and other past works.

Jason has directed an episode of Arrested Development and many other shows.
