Jack Fremont was a Sacred Heart Hospital patient.

Jack Fremont was admitted to the hospital when he began having pains in his lungs. He and his wife hoped it was just an infection. When J.D. and Denise get his X-ray back, they discover that he will probably not live through the night. When J.D. asks Denise to acquire a DNR form from Mrs. Fremont, Denise acts cold toward the grieving wife. Eventually, Jack passes away but his eight year old son Mikey and his wife get to say goodbye. ("My ABC's")
J.D. later brought up Fremont's death while encouraging Denise to try to make more of an effort to emotionally connect with her patients, noting he found himself sometimes caring too much for his patients due to it still affecting him a week later. ("My Cookie Pants")
