Herbert is a frequent flier at Sacred Heart, all of which are related to his weight. J.D. takes him under his wing because all procedures are more difficult on him and J.D. does not like to hurt anyone's feelings. When it is found out that Herbert needs to be taken to the zoo for an MRI to find the cause of his backpain, J.D. can't make himself tell Herbie the harsh news. Elliot sees this and storms in and tells it to him. ("My New Suit")
