Janitor introduces "Kyle" to the group.
The squirrel army is about 150 stuffed squirrels, all killed and stuffed by the Janitor. In the episode "My First Kill" Janitor traded the army for the taxidermied yellow lab Steven, to make amends with Carla.
Creating the squirrel army caused the Janitor to lose his taxidermy license. While it was in his possession he ran the army like a council, even to the point of taking votes from the squirrels.
The squirrels were likely hunted by Janitor and taken from the hospital campus. In "My Old Friend's New Friend" he asks J.D. if he likes hunting squirrels, and in "My First Kill" Ted reminisces about the squirrels that used to be around the hospital.
