Emery Redmond was a patient at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was treated by J.D. for burns.

The cause of Emery's burns are unknown. Being a senior in high school, Emery was extremely excited to go to his graduation and see all of his friends together for the last time. J.D. promised he would get him to graduation. Although Emery wasn't in the best shape to go, J.D., Elliot, Lloyd, Carla, and Turk took him to his graduation. He fell on the stage due to the burns on his feet. ("My Bad Too")
Elliot later stated that his mother at least got to take some pictures, even if she needed to photoshop the anguish out of them.
