Culver Studios
The Culver Studios is a film studio located in Culver City, California. Scrubs Season Nine was filmed at the studio where sets for both New Sacred Heart Hospital and Winston University were built.
The studio was chosen for Scrubs due to the studio looking like The University of Virginia and the other Doozer show Cougar Town filming at the same studios. The outside locations were used on Scrubs too - with the historical building being Winston University and an office building on the studio lot being New Sacred Heart Hospital.
Hollywood movie classics like Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane, King Kong and E.T. were filmed at the studio as well as many television shows.
