Episode titles from Seasons One through Eight begin with "My" and are nearly all narrated by J.D.. Episodes not narrated by J.D., beginning in Season Two, start with "His," "Her," or "Their" Story. "Story" episodes begin with J.D. narrating and then switch to another character's narration. Episodes from Season Nine, which feature multiple narrators, begin with "Our," signaling the major change that occurred in the series' ninth year.
