Scrubs wouldn't be what it is without the great array of funny and dramatic characters. From the main seven characters in the first eight seasons — J.D., Elliot, Turk, Carla, Dr. Cox, Dr. Kelso, and Janitor — to the four new faces added in Season Nine — Denise, Lucy, Cole, and Drew — to the hoards of supporting, recurring, and guest stars — Keith, Jordan, Doug, Laverne, Ted, and The Todd, to name a few — the character based comedy is what makes the show memorable.
