Mrs. Espinosa was the mother Carla, Gabriella, Maria, and Marco Espinosa as well as his unnamed brother.

Mrs. Espinosa was also the mother-in-law of Christopher Turk, and the grandmother of Isabella Turk. She once stayed in Carla's apartment, and broke her leg. ("My Bad") She does not allow her daughter to sleep with men until she is married, which Carla did anyway.
