One day, the board member asked Bob Kelso in the entryway how old he was going to be on his upcoming birthday. After joking around, Kelso told him 58. Later, Elliot found out that he was going to be 65 and threw him a surprise party. The board member attended and congratulated Kelso. Back in his office, the man told Dr. Kelso that it was Sacred Heart's policy for all staff to step down when they are 65 years old, and that they would be looking for a replacement.
