Alexander "Sandy" Chaplin (sometimes credited as Alexander Gaberman) plays Sam Thompson on Scrubs.
Bio[]
Alexander was born as Alexander Gaberman in New York. Chaplin was accepted to Juilliard in 1989 and appeared in numerous plays for numerous companies. In 1992, Alex appeared in 3 episodes of ABC Afterschool Specials, and later appeared in the film The Basketball Diaries. Alex was then cast in Bill Lawrence's Spin City where he appeared for 70 episodes.
